Founder, Katana Films

Holly Brisley is an Australian producer, actor, and television presenter whose career commenced at the age of 12 and spans more than three decades across film, television, and national presenting. Her on-screen credits include a long-running series regular role as Amanda Vale on Home and Away (2005–2009), feature films Garage Days (directed by Alex Proyas), Scooby-Doo (global box office $276 million), and The Crop — for which she won Best Actress at the New York Independent Film Festival in 2005. Her presenting career spans numerous national television programs including Agro's Cartoon Connection, The Looney Tunes Show, and Worlds Craziest Videos. She is now focused on producing bold, commercially viable, and socially impactful screen stories through her company, Katana Films.

Holly is currently completing a Master of Arts Screen Business at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), further strengthening her producing and financing expertise within the evolving global screen industry.

Her producing work includes raising a significant portion of the finance for the feature film Ruby's Choice, starring Jane Seymour and Jacqueline McKenzie, which combined commercial storytelling with a national social impact campaign around dementia awareness.

Holly's producing approach sits at the intersection of commercial storytelling, cultural relevance, and audience impact. She is particularly drawn to emotionally authentic narratives, bold creative voices, and meaningful engagement opportunities across theatrical, streaming, educational, and community spaces.

Her work is driven by a belief that powerful stories can entertain audiences while also creating genuine cultural conversation and long-term impact.
